Herbal teas
If tea comes exclusively from the tea plant, all other plants, which can be infused, are classified as “herbal teas” or “infusions”. For example, this is the case for chamomile, mint, verbena or lime, as well as other plants such as rooibos, honeybush and yerba mate, which are often wrongly classified as tea.
Generally speaking, herbal teas are naturally non-caffeinated. Each of these plants provides their own medicinal properties and although they can be consumed in their “simple” form, they are often found in combinations. Whether they are designed to promote digestion or sleeping, to stimulate the immune system or simply to relax, the HOME MADE BLENDS we offer are great alternatives to other beverages and can bring supplementary benefits to those offered by tea.
