The Qi Zhong cultivar is not well known but is quickly gaining popularity among tea fans in China. Grown in the foothills of the Wuyishan nature reserve, this spring harvest was traditionally charcoal roasted in several stages to reveal the rich aromas of its leaves. Its golden liquid is naturally delicate and sweet, revealing notes of honey, soft almonds, creamed caramel, fruits of the orchid, and osmanthus. Easy to digest and low in caffeine, this tea is the perfect choice for chilly evenings or to complement gourmet desserts.
