This aged white tea compressed into a large 350 gram cake comes from the Zhenghe region (northern Fujian) and is made from the grade of ''Shou Mei leaf'', the largest leaves from a late-spring harvest. While it's infusion was lighter and more flowery 10 years ago, it now has a more mature flavor range, almost reminiscent of a few years old Pu Er sheng. Its liquor is smooth, sweet and without bitterness. Woody notes of cinnamon, exotic woods and autumn leaves mingle with comforting fruity notes of baked apple in brown sugar and golden raisin. Very low in caffeine.
