Perfumed teas – Vert
Perfumed teas (or flavoured teas) are part of one of tea families (white, green, Oolong, black, etc.) for which the leaves have been enhanced by one or more elements to add supplementary aromas.
While some are traditional and elaborated with real ingredients – such as jasmine green and white tea, lychee and rose black tea, mint green tea or even different varieties of chai – others are made from original and modern recipes, opening an unlimited range of aromatic and flavour possibilities.
For CHA YI Tea House, it is critical that the latter be produced solely with natural ingredients such as essential oils, real pieces of fruits, flower petals, cocoa pods, spices, etc. rather than being produced from synthetic aromas such as those found in most commercial scented teas.
