Produced in the southern end of Zhejiang province, this green tea cru is little-known in spite of having won a gold medal at the 1915 world fair. At once flavourful and delicate, the freshness of the soft floral and vegetal aromas of this tea is sure to win you over. Herbaceous accents bring to mind fiddleheads, tarragon, buttered green beans, and freshly cut hay, while its floral side has highlights of sweet clover and narcissus, as well as a subtle hint of white peach in the finish. Round and satisfying, this green tea is just as balanced in the nose as on the tongue.
