Cultivated without chemicals by Mr. Fujiwara on the island of Yakushima (located off Kagoshima), this Japanese black tea offers a unique character. Its beautiful inky black leaves give off aromas of tomato paste, cookies and dried fruits. When infused, its coppery liquor is round, tasty and without astringency. Its delicately sweet flavor is pairing with aromatic notes reminiscent of bay leaf, cherry tomato, orange blossom, apricot, honey and brioche. Comforting and caressing!
