Yellow teas are unusual teas and this one, coming from a small organic plantation in southern Yunnan, is certainly no exception as it is original both by its origin and by its aromatic profile! Made from an early spring harvest, its buds and twisted leaves of a beautiful bronze color, underwent a light aerobic fermentation of a few hours. The result is rich aromas of dried and candied fruit, honey and taffy. The golden yellow infusion is limpid and suave, with notes of yellow peach, summer flowers, butter and lemon, accompanying with a beautiful sweetness a delicately sweet finish.
