Translated as “Pear Mountain”, this tea’s terroir is aptly named: its sunnier slopes are home to innumerable apple, pear, and peach orchards, with tea bushes covering the steepest escarpments. This milieu produces a tea of conspicuous refinement and finesse, with fruity notes of peach, pineapple, green apple, heady florals (peony and daffodil), vegetal nuances of lush grass and sorrel, and more savoury aromas of cocoa- and coconut-butter.
