This micro-lot of Mi Lan Xiang comes from a spring harvest on tea trees over fifty years old located on the high-altitude slopes of Mount Wudong, in the heart of the Feng Huang mountain range (province of Guangdong). When infused, they give off charming scents of exotic fruits and grilled almonds. On the palate, the attack of its liqueur is supple but lively, its flavors of pink grapefruit, lychee and peach compote tickling the palate in an elegant way. On the finish, a floral hint reminiscent of the scent of freesia as well as a comforting note of exotic wood joins a long and sweet persistence of fruit paste.
