More of an unknown family, the Oolong family serves as a transition between green teas (non-oxidized) and black teas (completely oxidized) and offers a beautiful variety of aromatic teas. Having qualities of green teas and black teas, Oolongs can offer notes of lilac, lily of the valley, jasmine, wild orchid, butter, honey, caramel, chocolate, dried fruit, lychee, toast, etc. Lower in caffein and tannins, Oolongs are also very easy to brew.
