This white tea is unique in that it comes from the Indian province of Bihar, a region not far from the terroir of Darjeeling. Harvested only in early spring, the long, hairy, needle-like buds with silvery hue give off sweet pastry scents when dry. When infused, they release a delicate liquor full of sweetness, reminiscent of pear, lemon zest, vanilla, verbena, yellow beans and a refreshing floral hint. A beautifully crafted ''yin zhen'' white tea, available at a low price!
