Tea shop's curbside pickup policy
With the current situation and to minimize contact between customers and members of our team, we exceptionally recommend to place your order on our online store and then pick up your products already paid outside our shop.
PLACING YOUR ORDER AND WAITING FOR PICKUP
Here is the way to proceed:
1. Choose your products by adding the desired quantities to your basket. Confirm your order and checkout to fill in the payment information and choose " Local pickup " as the shipping option.
2. When your purchase is completed, you will receive an automatic e-mail to confirm your order and telling you that we are working on it.
Preparing your products can be done as fast as the same day you ordered when it's placed in the morning, but it take up to 48-72h if it's done during the weekend or if we have a large number of orders and shipments to process. It is important to understand that we are currently working with fewer staff members and that, although some additional delays may occur, we do our best to process your orders as quickly as possible.
3. When your order is ready, a new automated message will be sent to you by email saying that your order is sent (or ready for pickup). Normally, we try to call the person to confirm the pickup time but this email already tells you that you can pass during the periods provided for this purpose.
4.This is when you can schedule your pickup time at our shop during those following time periods :
Wednesday between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. /
Thursday and Friday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. /
Saturday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
So, if you place your order on Monday in the early afternoon, your order can't be to pick up the same day, but possibly on Wednesday between noon and 4 PM with a confirmation from us . You could also come on Friday if Wednesday does not work for you : when the products are ready, it is up to you to choose the most convenient time among the hours mentioned above.
RETRIEVING YOUR ORDER
When you received our confirmation that your order is ready to be picked up, please come to the tea house (165 Eddy Street) during your time slot.
When the shop is closed (Wednesday):Knock on the door or window and tell / show your order number to our team member. Then back up a few steps behind our front door wall so that he / she can safely places your order on the front door before closing the door. When our team member has closed the door, you can approach to take your package
When the store is open (Thursday, Friday and Saturday): Simply enter and say that you have an order to pick up by giving your name and / or your order number. If a queue is formed outside the store, you can only say that you have a web order to pick up and pick it up inside. In this case, if you were planning to purchase other products in addition to your order, please wait in line to get into the teahouse.
