This Pu Er shu tea (ripe) from Menghai bears the mention "Zao Xiang" for the aroma of jujube that it releases more and more with age. Its large, dark leaves are over a dozen years old and give off a good forest undergrowth scent. When infused, they produce an amber, limpid and clear liquor. Its sweet and particularly sweet flavors carry mineral aromas of clay and terra cotta, woody notes evoking pecan nuts and liquorice root as well as a fruity character of dates and currants, all without the slightest bitterness. A real pleasure for your taste buds!
