Cha Yu Lin is a post-fermented tea, as are Pu Er. Produced in central China's Hunan province, it is compressed into large tree trunks and separated into discs that can be crumbled.
Although produced in 2013, and therefore still young, this tea is already showing a good maturation and will continue to improve with the years. Its infusion is clear and soft as it is low in tannins. It evokes dead leaves and cigar, liquorice, camphor and a slight mineral touch reminiscent of the pencil sharpener. A beautiful curiosity that will appeal to lovers of aged tea !
