This Pu Er sheng (raw) is young and full of freshness, closer to a green tea or an Oolong in its aromas than a very ripe Pu Er. Its picking from wild tea trees of the purple leaf variety makes this tea very special. Very generous on reinfusion, its beautiful twisted leaves give off a soft and sweet infusion, with fruity notes of blueberry and blackberry as well as resinous and woody flavors evoking fir tree gum, eucalyptus honey, and maple sap, followed by a long persistence of forest berries.
