This classic black tea is produced in the south of Sri Lanka by the Lumbini gardens, well known throughout the country. Its big deep burgundy leaves emit nuanced notes of orchard fruits, cereal, tobacco, and mild spices. Once infused, they reveal a bronze liquid, with soft tannins yet structured aromas like prune jam, figs and malt. Although it is preferably savoured pure, this tea can support milk if desired.
