Considered the ‘champagne of green teas’, gyokuro plants are shaded for three weeks before the leaves are harvested by hand. This process aids in the development of the flavours most highly prized in Japanese green tea: spinach, aromatic plant, fresh seaweed, and small red fruit. Suave and delicate.
