Hong Xiang is a not a very well known tea, even in Taiwan. This mountain, highly isolated in the centre of Taiwan, is actually in the middle of an ecological reserve. The tea is cultivated without artificial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides and produced up to 2000 meters above sea level, giving this tea “the perfume of the high mountains”.
Unroasted for this winter harvest batch, its infusion reveals complex notes of coconut, exotic fruits, fresh butter, white flowers and ripe apricot offering a character as comforting as refreshing, as well as a persistence of beautiful purity. Undoubtedly one of our great favorites!
