This roasted green tea from the Miyazaki region is made from leaves, but especially stems (kukicha) harvested following the organic production of Kamairicha. The result is a light but tasty green tea, without the slightest bitterness, with very low caffeine content and surprising complexity for a tea of this type with notes of peanut butter, sweet grass, lemongrass, golden grapes, mirabelle plum and acacia flower. This tea also has a finer, more elegant and much less toasted version than our regular hojicha. An underestimated tea that will surprise more than one!
