This green tea powder is made entirely from young, finely ground spring shoots. Although it may be enjoyed in emulsified form like the other matcha green teas in our collection, meaning beaten with a little bit of water, it’s mostly used as an ingredient in certain recipes (ice cream, smoothies, madeleines and other baked goods, etc.) or even in matcha green tea lattés (modern version of matcha in which a large quantity of hot or cold milk is beaten and frothed with green tea powder). A great way to incorporate a healthy ingredient rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into your diet.
