Here is one of our favorite Assams, directly imported from the Doomni garden, an area whose reputation is well established! Perhaps it is because this estate is located in the same place where a plantation once cultivated sugar cane, but this tea reveals a remarkable sweet and velvety aspect.
Its small black leaves with multiple golden tips release fruity and malty odors. When infused, the beautiful vermilion liqueur reveals sweet notes of blackberries, blueberries, marshmallows and barley sugar, blending harmoniously with the silky aspect of malted cereal. In the finish, the fruity and caramelized notes combine with a nuance of orange peel and autumn honey, making this tea a great tasting assam.
